I got these CMP Rigel Mid Men’s Waterproof Hiking Boots primarily for work since I spend about 9 hours a day on my feet so support and comfort are important to me. They are lightweight and sturdy and give good support and my feet don't get too hot when I wear them for long periods.
So far I have not had chance to take these boots "off-road", but in a controlled environment which involves much walking and a little bit of ladder climbing they have proven their worth for comfort and support. They did require a few days of breaking in but once that task was done, they were great.
I am a size 10.5 in pretty much any other shoe I wear so I ordered size 10.5 and it fits as expected. I have average width feet and the boot was a nice width with a spacious enough toe box. What I really like about this hiking boot is that there is plenty of lace left over after fastening for double knots if needed.
Overall, I think these boots look great, fit well and perform admirably, I can't wait to hit the muddy trails and winter walks to properly test the tread.
